DOGS

Coon Rapids City Code #6-106:  Dogs may not run at large and must be under control.

Coon Rapids City Code #6-127:  It is unlawful for dogs to defecate on private property without the consent of the property owner or any public property unless the excrement is immediately removed and placed in a proper receptacle.

Lawn and landscaping damage due to pets is the homeowner’s responsibility.

No outside kennel or doghouse will be permitted

CATS

According to the City of Coon Rapids city ordnances, cats must be leashed or confined to the owner's property by fencing, and must be licensed.

MULTIPLE PETS

According to the City of Coon Rapids city ordnances, any combination of more than two dogs or cats requires a multiple pet permit (763-767-6410).
